Nov 1, 2017~ PhySep proudly supports a new addition to our community - The Jacksonville Icemen, a hockey team in the ECHL. Welcoming the Icemen not only supports a new team to our city, it also supports the players that move here, and the local workforce who staff and market the games, providing hundreds of jobs to our community along with some great hockey. Oct 23, 2017~ PhySep completes the installation of a new 5 Tesla Superconducting Magnetic separator in Shanxi, China for the improved recovery of Bauxite.
June 12, 2015~ X-Plor International Intern Program. Over 400 applicants from over 50 of North America’s top Mining Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Universities have applied for a paid and accredited intern program for 5 interns, held on PhySep’s placer claims in British Columbia, Canada. 2016 Students from: Colorado School of Mines, Virginia Tech, McGil University, University of British Columbia, and University of Maine were selected.
May 1, 2014~ PhySep finishes the addition of our new, in-house Mineral Lab. Physical separation testing processes include: Density, Electrostatic, and Magnetic.
